Magnetico is a true guarantee — not just for its comprehensive, high-level training, but also for its human touch. Here, you find a family.
I had just finished my Cisco CCNA course when I became pregnant. At a time when no one wanted to hire a mother, Magnetico welcomed me with open arms. I was able to rediscover my passion for networking and turn it into my future. From there, I went on to earn more certifications, including the CCNP, diving deeper into key networking topics like routing and switching. I had the chance to study, grow, and fall even more in love with this field.
I turned my passion for networking into a career — today, I work on a highly specialized Core Network team, handling device management, configuration, and security for public institutions, banks, and hospitals. These are critical infrastructures where there’s no room for error.
I keep learning and aiming higher. In fact, I recently achieved the Cisco Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (ENARSI) certification, which helped me strengthen and expand my technical skills.
All of this was possible thanks to the ongoing support of the association — and especially thanks to Andrea Virdi, who always believed in me.
Magnetico is a vital presence in the South, bringing together expertise, passion, and authenticity — a true point of reference in the networking world.

I met Andrea in 2018 while I was in high school, thanks to a work-study program in Milan. It was an experience that opened the doors to the world of networking and sparked my passion for the field, ultimately leading me to enter the IT job market immediately after graduation.
After that first course, in 2022 I decided to strengthen my skills by joining the CCNA course with Andrea and Carlo. It helped me grow professionally and begin working for a major telecommunications company.
In 2024, I continued my studies with the "Fortigate Administrator" course alongside Andrea and the "FortiManager Administrator" course with Marco, thus earning a certification in the CyberSecurity field. That same year, I participated in the "CCNP – ENCOR" course with Andrea and Matteo. In 2025, I began the "CCNP – ENARSI" course taught by Andrea.
Thanks to these experiences and certifications, I now work as a Network Engineer in a Governance team for one of the top finance clients of a leading telecommunications company.
A special thank-you goes to Andrea, who from the very beginning proved to be not only an incredibly skilled instructor but also a person with a heart of gold. Andrea is a rare example of dedication and passion — he always puts his students first, giving his all to help them succeed. To me, he’s not just a teacher, but also a friend, a brother, and even a father figure, always pushing us to do our best.
My advice to anyone starting this journey is: don’t stop at earning a certificate. You need passion, commitment, and the drive to grow — not just professionally, but personally too.

My name is Grazia Gurgone, I’m from Nicosia, and I’m happy to share my experience with the Magnetico association.
My journey began thanks to an opportunity offered by someone very special to me — Andrea Virdi. Through him, I was able to join a training course for Network System Technicians, where I earned the Huawei Datacom Certification. That experience was a turning point, igniting a strong motivation to keep growing professionally in the IT field.
In 2024, I successfully completed the Fortinet course and earned the FortiGate Administrator v7.4 certification. Later, I joined the Winter Cisco CCNA course to gain skills equivalent to those I had achieved with the Huawei certification. During that period, I also had the chance to begin working in the IT sector.
To me, Magnetico is a true center of excellence in the heart of Sicily — a region made of small communities and great minds that, thanks to initiatives like this, can finally find recognition on both a national and international level.

During my time at Magnetico, I had the chance to take part in a highly specialized training program that became a key milestone in my professional growth. I began with the CCNA Routing and Switching course, where I built a strong foundation in networking, communication protocols, and device configuration. Soon after earning my first certification, I landed my first job in the IT sector. Two years later, I continued with the CyberOps course, which allowed me to explore key cybersecurity topics such as incident management, threat analysis, and data protection. At the end of the program, I earned an internationally recognized certification that further strengthened my skills. This blend of technical knowledge and hands-on experience helped me launch my career in IT and cybersecurity, giving me the confidence to face the challenges of the digital world.

I’m thrilled to share my experience with the Magnetico association and the amazing instructors who guided me throughout this journey. I had the chance to meet Andrea Virdi and Matteo Mirenda, with whom I embarked on an incredible learning path, embracing every opportunity they offered with curiosity and enthusiasm. With them, I was able to study using a practical approach, attending in person at TecnoPolo.
I started with the “Net&Sys Admin – Magnetico – Fall 24” course, then continued with “Fortigate Operator” and “MPLS Services.” I am currently advancing my training with Andrea through “Cisco CCNP ENARSI – Summer 25.” These programs helped me gain the skills necessary to secure a position as a Consultant Analyst.
I hope my experience can inspire anyone curious and eager to explore the world of networking. I am living proof that even if you come from a completely different field — just a few months ago, I worked in hospitality — with the right guidance and a willingness to learn, you can completely change your life.

I want to share my experience in the hope it can inspire anyone considering a career in IT — whether you’re young or looking to start fresh at a different stage of life.
After completing the Networks and IT Systems course in a highly professional and stimulating environment, I was able to break into the IT industry.
The course followed the Cisco CCNAa key reference in networking, and helped me acquire in-depth, up-to-date technical skills.
During the program, I learned how to configure and manage network devices like switches and routers, implement dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, plan and assign IP addresses efficiently through subnetting, and grasp the basics of network security and troubleshooting techniques to resolve real problems in complex network environments.
The lessons were very hands-on, with lab exercises that made learning practical and immediately applicable. The instructors supported us every step of the way with clear, step-by-step explanations.
This course represented a real turning point for me: it not only provided me with a solid technical foundation but also enabled me to enter the IT sector and secure my first job in the field.
To anyone eager to learn and take on challenges, regardless of age, I highly recommend seizing this opportunity — it’s a valuable investment in building a career in technology.
Don’t be afraid to start: every step moves you closer to your future. The future isn’t something to wait for — it’s here and now. Take charge and build it with your own hands!

I’m thrilled to share my experience with the Magnetico association and the amazing instructors who guided me along the way. Thanks to a scholarship for students in their fourth and fifth years of high school, I had the chance to meet Andrea Virdi and Matteo Mirenda — not just teachers, but true friends and mentors.
I started with the “Net&Sys Admin Winter 2023” course and then continued with “Fortigate Administration Fall 2025.” These programs gave me the skills I needed to secure a position as a SOC Analyst at a well-known telecommunications company in Bari — all at the young age of 19.
I hope my experience, though brief, can inspire anyone curious and eager to explore the world of networks and beyond!
